Chairman

Hitoshi Motohara joined Advantage Resourcing America, Inc. (ARA) and Advantage Resourcing Europe B.V. (ARE) as Chairman and CEO when ARA and ARE were purchased by Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd., in January 2012. Effective January 2014, Motohara named a dedicated CEO of ARA and ARE, allowing him to dedicate his time as Chairman of the Board.  In this capacity he will stay involved in oversight of Advantage Resourcing’s progress and success.  

Motohara is a Managing Corporate Executive Officer within Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd. Headquartered in Tokyo, Japan; Recruit is currently the fifth largest staffing firm in the world according to Staffing Industry Analysts' 2014 Global Staffing Ranking. Motohara is responsible for developing and executing strategies to expand Recruit's business internationally.

Motohara joined Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd., in 1983, beginning his career with the company as a sales and marketing associate and rising to position of CEO of Recruit Media Communications. In 2003, he became CEO of Recruit Staffing and began expanding the company's staffing operations. In 2008, Motohara became CEO of Staff Services, the number one staffing firm in Japan, following Recruit's acquisition of the company.

He is a graduate of Hiroshima Shudo University, School of Law in Japan, and served for two years as the President of Japan Staffing Services Association.

Reiki Muratake joined Advantage Resourcing America, Inc. (ARA) and Advantage Resourcing Europe B.V. (ARE) in January 2012, as Board Director and Vice President of Administration, and was soon promoted into the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In his position as CFO, Muratake oversees all aspects of corporate finance and accounting including financial reporting, planning, treasury, tax and banking relationships for Advantage Resourcing in its US, UK and Australia businesses. He also functions a liaison with Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd. corporate headquarters in Tokyo Japan. Muratake reports to Mr. Hitoshi Motohara, Board Chairman and CEO.

In his prior role as Vice President of Administration with Advantage, Muratake supported Mr. Motohara with post-merger integration, business strategy, global business monitoring, legal compliance and corporate governance. Prior to his involvement with Advantage Resourcing post-acquisition, Muratake had worked for Recruit Holdings, Ltd. in Japan since April 1989. His career at Recruit included assignments in the purchasing, legal and planning departments, international business strategy and global corporate development in China, Southeast Asia and in the U.S. Muratake has played a key role in five staffing company acquisitions as a senior executive in the Management Planning Division.

Muratake holds a Bachelor and Master Degree from Keio University in Japan. He was a visiting scholar of University of Washington School of Law from November 2000 till December 2001.

Toshio Oka joined Advantage Resourcing America, Inc. (ARA) and Advantage Resourcing Europe B.V. (ARE) as CEO in January 2014. Oka is responsible for determining and formulating policies and overall direction of ARA and ARE in connection with business strategy, financial accounting, organizational structure, human resources, operations, and investments.

Oka joined Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd., in 1989, then transferred to Recruit Staffing CO ., Ltd in 1999. In 2007 he was appointed CEO of Recruit Sanyo Human Network Co., Ltd, a company focused on Light Industrial staffing with Revenues in excess of $120M.

In 2011 Oka was appointed CEO of Staff Service Holdings., LTD which is one of the largest staffing companies in Japan, offering Office Clerical, Engineering, IT, Light Industrial and Medical. During this time he was also appointed concurrently as Corporate Executive Officer of Recruit Co, Ltd. In 2013 Oka was appointed to Corporate Executive Officer of Global Staffing Business of Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd

Oka received a Bachelor’s degree from Kyoto University, Japan.

Executive Manager of International Business Management Office, Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd

Takashi Nishimura joined Advantage Resourcing American, Inc. (ARA) and Advantage Resourcing Europe B.V. (ARE) as Board Director in April 2014. He also currently serves as Executive Manager of International Business Management Office. He is responsible for auditing international subsidiaries and supporting their strategic planning.

He joined Recruit in 1997 and has since served in the HR department, New Business Development Office, Corporate Strategy Office, and Corporate Business Management Office, respectively.

He received his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Doshisha University in 1997. In 2003, he attended MIT as an Advanced Study Program Fellow in the School of Engineering.

Chief Information Officer

Michael Whitmer is Chief Information Officer for Advantage Resourcing. Whitmer is responsible for directing the planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems, internet and mobile business platforms and technology support systems.

Prior to joining Advantage, Whitmer was the global Chief Information Officer for Hudson Global, Inc. Before joining Hudson, he was the Vice President of Information Services for Spherion and has held roles with Witness Systems and Turner Broadcasting Systems.

Whitmer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from West Georgia College.

Whitmer is the Past President of the Quest International Board of Directors and has served on the Quest Board since 2009. He is also a member of the Oracle Customer Advisory Board and a contributing member to the CIO Executive Council.

Managing Director, Advantage xPO UK

Mike assumed the role of Managing Director in 2015, responsible for the strategic and operational development of the combined UK recruitment business. Mike reports to Mr. Oka, CEO of Advantage Resourcing.

Mike previously held the position of Strategic Accounts Director for Advantage Resourcing UK; responsible for the development of key strategic clients within the defense, aerospace and IT infrastructure. He has extensive experience working within the complex arena of SOW and fixed price projects. Mike has been part of Advantage Resourcing since 2004.

Mike has a BA in Economic Policy from the University of Hull and an MA in Economics from the University of Exeter

President, Advantage Resourcing North America

Doug Dandurand was promoted to President of Advantage Resourcing, North America in July 2016.  His success and performance has rewarded him with several progressive career steps since joining Advantage Resourcing in June 2013 as Senior Vice President of the Engineering Division.  In 2014, the IT and Technology Lifecycle Services Divisions were added to his responsibilities and in January of  2016 he was promoted to Executive Vice President reporting to Toshio Oka, CEO of Advantage Resourcing.  Dandurand is currently responsible for the continued growth and profitability of all the staffing units in North America, including Professional, Technical, and Commercial services.   Doug has over 20 years of industry experience with executive level leadership in a broad range of staffing disciplines. 

Prior to joining Advantage Resourcing. Mr. Dandurand was a Partner and President, Eastern Region for EmployBridge.  Doug was with EmployBridge from June 2004 until June 2013.  In this role he was responsible for the company’s commercial branches in the Eastern Region as well as the professional divisions for the entire organization. 

Mr. Dandurand also held key leadership positions previously with: Olsten Staffing Services, Oxford Global Resources, Robert Half International, and Randstad US.

Mr. Dandurand holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Kansas State University.

President, Advantage xPO North America

Beth Roekle joined Advantage xPO in 2011 as Vice President of Operations. She was named President of Advantage xPO, North America in 2015 and reports to Toshio Oka, CEO of Advantage Resourcing.  Roekle is responsible for delivery management, growth and expansion for the xPO business in North America.

A member of the HRO Today Services and Technology Association’s Regional Board of Advisors, Beth was named a “2014 Provider Superstar” in the Recruiting and Talent Acquisition category.  

Prior to joining Advantage xPO, Beth was Vice President of Operations for PeopleScout (a division of TrueBlue, Inc.).  She holds a J.D. from DePaul University and a B.A. from Northwestern University.

Vice President of Advantage Professional Sydney, Australia

Yusuke Hiyoshi was sent from Recruit Co., Ltd. to join Advantage Professional Pty Limited in Sydney, Australia, as a Board Director and Vice President in July 2012. Hiyoshi is responsible for the general operation of the company, in connection with business strategy, financial accounting, organizational structure, human resources and investments.

Hiyoshi has worked in the staffing industry for 10 years. He joined Recruit Staffing Co., Ltd. in 2003 as a sales and marketing associate, and rose to the position of GM. In 2009, he joined the corporate global strategy division with Recruit Co., Ltd., and in 2010, he was sent to The CSI Companies, Inc. in the USA, which was purchased by Recruit Co., Ltd. There he had been responsible for the Post Merger Integration project, assisting in the development of a new operating business model for Japanese companies in the U.S.

He has a bachelor degree of Tsukuba University in Japan.
