    Job Summary:

    Wires machines, equipment and their subassemblies following layouts of electrical circuits and other written and verbal specifications. Assembly and Wiring of electrical cabinets.


    Essential/Key Functions:

    Recommend improvements for area product and processes

    1. Proper skills in use of hand tools.
    2. Read and understand standard assembly layouts (schematics, blueprints)
    3. Know and follow Lockout out process (Lock,Tag,Try).
    4. Report Job labor correctly.
    5. Read and understand Bill of Materials.
    6. Assemble electrical panels and cabinets with minimal assistance.
    7. Improve visual and physical neatness of assembly.
    8. Make corrections or changes to electrical cabinets and electrical panels in process when required.
    9. Understand and support Company philosophies, goals and directions including ISO 9001 and 14001 policies and procedures.
    10. Use all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to line wire machines.
    Position Requirements

    Minimum (Required) Qualifications:

    • Reports irregularities to supervision.
    • Work as a Team on your shift and between the shifts.
    • Work safely and in an environmentally responsible manner.
    • Interact professionally with customers in the plant and field.
    • Produce and maintain consistent quality of work.
    • Set the department / area standards in areas of housekeeping, attendance and teamwork by example.
    • Practice good communications; train employees/customers.
    • Demonstrate personal leadership; actively participate in or lead problem solving and continuous improvement efforts.
    • Demonstrate flexibility when confronted with high stress / emergency situations, priority changes, or new assignments.

    Minimum Skills:

    • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 3 to 5 years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 2 to 5 years’ experience in assembly of electrical cabinets, wiring of machines or subassemblies.
