How long does the hiring process take?

The process varies based upon the position and the customer’s hiring process.  Advantage xPO is committed to quickly moving you through the process and submitting you to those positions for which you are qualified.  The first step is to create a profile for an opportunity that interests you.  Our recruiters will review your profile and discuss our available opportunities with you.  After that, the customer’s process is followed and that varies based on the customer.

How often will I get paid?

We pay our contingent workers on a weekly basis.  Our staff employees are paid twice a month.  If you are placed directly with one of our customers, you will be paid according to the customer’s payroll calendar.

Can you help me find another position after my first assignment ends?

Advantage xPO is fortunate to work with leading organizations.  After the successful conclusion of a temporary assignment, your recruiter will absolutely work to find you another assignment.

What are the background check/drug test requirements?

The background check/drug test requirements vary from customer to customer.  This would be something your recruiter could discuss with you.

How am I able to do things such as review my pay stubs or change my withholding?

Advantage xPO has an online system called Advantage Connect which is used for these sorts of things.

Do you provide benefits?

Yes, Advantage xPO offers its employees the ability to purchase group medical, dental, vision and short-term disability insurances, along with 401 (k), opportunity to purchase other insurance such as pet insurance and life insurance.

How long are the assignments?

Our temporary assignments vary in length – some for a few days while others could be 12 – 18 months.  In some cases, the assignments get extended.

Is there are opportunity for a temporary assignment to convert into a direct position with the customer?

Yes.  While some of the positions that we fill are purely temporary, there are others where the customer plans to convert the position into a direct position if the right person is identified.  Your recruiter can share the likelihood that a position may convert to a direct placement with the customer as well as whether the customer has indicated if there is a possibility of extending a temporary assignment.
